4. 'Marvel's Spider-Man 2 '(PS5)

Marvel's Spider-Man 2 continues the journey of both Peter Parker and Miles Morales in their most epic single-player adventure yet.

Redmond Carolipio: I mean, we're getting Venom, so there's that. This is one of my favorite game series right now, so I don't need much to get excited for this, but one question: In what form are we getting Venom? Antagonist only? Playable, with a whole new symbiotic badass toolkit? Both? Also, let's not forget Kraven the Hunter and others possibly showing up, as well as more Miles Morales. There's too much to like.

Chris "Atom" DeAngelus: Marvel's Spider-Man is up there for one of the best superhero games ever made. Perfectly capturing the feel and tone of the web-slinger, it's rivaled only by games like Arkham Asylum. Spider-Man 2 looks to be going bigger and better. Peter and Miles Morales will team up to take on new groups of villains with new gadgets and powers. Probably the most exciting and anticipated of these is the symbiote Venom, who will be voiced by the amazing Tony Todd of "Candyman" fame. Even if it's just "more of the same," more of the same as the first game (and its spin-off) is something to be jazzed about.

Cody Medellin: The original PS4 game showed us that Insomniac knows what makes a good Spider-Man game tick. The pseudo-sequel that was released at the launch of the PS5 showed us that a game centered around Miles Morales can work and do very well. Putting both protagonists in one game for more than a few missions sounds like a perfect match, especially if the game ends up having co-op. Yes, Venom will be in this title, but I'm way more excited about being to play co-op with two Spideys, even if it's just for a few missions.

Andreas Salmen: I've played both Spider-Man titles to completion more than once and love them dearly, but they already feel like products of the last generation. After several cross-gen releases, it's especially exciting to see what a real PS5-exclusive from Sony can do, and Spider-Man 2 is the brand to really show the hardware's true potential. As long as the story, the handling of both protagonists, and the roster of villains meets the same high bar, this could be a real heavy hitter for PS5 in 2023.
