by Judy on June 12, 2021 @ 5:52 p.m. PDT

Following the events of I Expect You To Die, IEYTD2 sends you back into the immersive world of espionage and undercover danger.

Welcome back, Agent! We've been expecting you.

After secretly surviving the events of the first title, players go deep undercover to explore the diabolical intelligence the Agency received regarding Zoraxis' move for world domination. Players will embark on brand new missions to figure out what Zoraxis is up to, use their elite spy skills to retrieve vital intelligence for the Agency, and try their very best not to die mid mission.

Leaving nothing to chance, the Agency has assigned you with the task of going deep undercover and putting a stop to the Zoraxis organization's new scheme of world dominance. After all, you did stop Zor before and survived the Death Engine! Now, you'll need to step up your super spy game! Take advantage of your telekinetic abilities in all-new environments and surroundings. Expose the diabolical plot and learn even more about Zoraxis.

Risk your life for the greater good; because, remember: we expect you to die.

In I Expect You To Die 2: The Spy and the Liar, each mission features ingenious puzzles, cunning villains, dangerous locales, and is connected by a cohesive story line, culminating in an explosive ending. The first mission is to protect the prime minister, who is attending a theater production featuring world famous actor and celebrity John Juniper.

Wil Wheaton steps into the shoes of celebrity extraordinaire John Juniper, who joins players on their quest to stop the Zoraxis organization's nefarious plans.

Taking inspiration from the first game, I Expect You To Die 2 features a Bond-esque theme song performed by "the sad clown with a golden voice," world-renowned singer and songwriter Puddles Pity Party.

Key Features:

  • New Puzzles: Test your skill and cunning with new missions and complex puzzles that will confound you. Still the elite super spy, you have the power to manipulate objects around you. But be careful! Just because Zoraxis thinks you're dead doesn't mean you're safe.
  • In-depth story: Learn more about Zoraxis and interact with more villains who've pledged their allegiance to Dr. Zor. Of course, the Agency still believes that Dr. Zor is our top priority, but recent intelligence suggests there are others we need to investigate.
  • Immersive Environment: Explore new locations and environments that will make your elite spy shoes feel like you're undercover. Yes, the Agency is aware that you became quite comfortable with your swanky office, but we assure you that your new accommodations are just as...welcoming.

I Expect You To Die 2: The Spy and the Liar is coming to Oculus Quest, Oculus Rift, PC (Steam) and PlayStation VR in 2021.
