Get the Sudden Strike III: Arms for Victory Trailer off WP (25mb)
There will be four campaigns; two of them are on the Pacific islands, and two of them in Europe. The player will be able to play for the American or Japanese armies in the Pacific, and for the Allies or Germans in Europe. This will be the first RTS engine to render accurate vast marine and land battlefields (maps contain more than 150 "virtual" square kilometers).

Fireglow team is now developing a next generation game engine (codename: Sudden Strike Next7) and the first game based on this engine, which now is officially named 'Sudden Strike III: Arms For Victory'. Fireglow plans to develop several other games based on this engine in different setups related to war conflicts.

Gearbox Software's community manager Allison "ennui" Berryman sends word that one of their developers has been working on a DM/TDM mod for BiA (both titles), which he has released to the community. One of the most requested gameplay modes for BiA was a traditional deathmatch, and Jeffrey Broome spent his time developing one to invigorate the multiplayer aspect of the game. Today Ubisoft, Gearbox Software, and The History Channel, announced that a Brothers In ArmsĀ inspired two-hour documentary special on World War II will premiere on The History Channel. Produced by Foglight Entertainment, the television special, hosted by actor Ron Livingston (Band of Brothers) will premiere on The History Channel on Sunday, December 18th at 8 pm ET/PT.

product page shows a change in release date for Gearbox Software's upcoming WWII based FPS. Previously scheduled for October 2005, the date has been moved forward and will now be released in September 2005 (
thanks Blues). Whether this is for all platforms and Europe as well as North America is not known at this point.
