Phew! After yesterday's red ring scare on the Xbox 360, it turns out that it's still functional. It just shut down automatically due to overheating. It is warm out here, and we had been playing Gears of War 3 and LEGO Star Wars III: Clone Wars for quite a bit, so it's understandable. More Gears of War 3 coming up!
Tonight we're going to watch The Debt, which we've been meaning to check out for a while. Figured we'd better hurry up before it disappears from the big screen.
You know what? I totally forgot that I had an early access code to play Battlefield 3, and now it's open beta. Better start the download!

Halfway through the week, and unsurprisingly, i'm looking forward to the weekend. I need some downtime after last week's vacation. Odd how that works :)
We attended a PSP event last night and got to play a few upcoming games (Modnation Racers, Hot Shots Golf and a few others), so we'll have some impressions and interviews later today and later in the week.

Yesterday it came to light that Activision Blizzard would not be attending the E3 Media & Business Summit 2008 (as well as not renewing its ESA membership altogether) and while the exhibitors list seemed to be incomplete, NCSoft and Foundation 9 confirmed they are not attending either. While id Software themselves seem to be uncertain (first confirmed, then retracted it) Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment issued a statement making clear that in spite of not being on the list, it will be attending E3.
