Super Bust-A-Move 2 (PS2/GC) - Features & Screens

Ubi Soft Entertainment today announced it is publishing Super Bust-A-Move 2, for the PlayStation 2 computer entertainment system and Nintendo GameCube. Super Bust-A-Move 2 is the latest version of the hugely popular Bust-A-Move franchise featuring challenging puzzles, a fun cast of characters and highly-addictive gameplay appealing to gamers of all ages. Super Bust-A-Move 2 for the PlayStation 2 is scheduled to ship to U.S. and Canadian retail shelves in October with the Nintendo GameCube version following this December.

THQ Have a Go Show MX Superfly

MX Superfly to be unveiled for first public showing alongside live Freestyle Motocross display.. THQ International Ltd, a subsidiary of THQ Inc. today announced that it will be sponsoring the ‘Freestyle’ Motocross arena at the ‘Have a Go Show’, at Newnham Park, Plympton, Plymouth, to promote its forthcoming MX Superfly game, due for release October 2002. ‘Have a Go Show’ is a brand new 3-day event and is expected to attract around 12,000-15,000 people. The event is being held from Friday 9th-Sunday 11th August 2002, and will be a unique opportunity for the general public to experience an extensive range of outdoor activities, some of which will include, rally car ‘hot rides’, climbing, paintball and quad bikes.

Le Mans 24 Hours Retail Start-Up Fix

Infogrames has released a small patch for Le Mans 24 Hours, the racing simulation by Melbourne House. The fix addresses the start-up problem where a DirectX 8.1 error message is incorrectly shown on systems using DX higher than 8.1. Grab this 890 KB update at 3D Gamers.
Vivendi - Simon & Schuster Teams Up

Vivendi Universal Publishing today announced that it has signed an exclusive North American distribution agreement with Viacom's digital entertainment unit Simon & Schuster Interactive (S&SI). Through VU Publishing's Games division (VU Games), the company will distribute interactive products published by S&SI over the next two years. " Just a quick note on future releases for Quake 3 Arena. We will be releasing a new point release in the relatively near future which includes a handful of fixes and updates and also includes full Punk Buster integration to combat cheating. No firm date on when this will be out but it should not be too far off "

'Age of Wonders II' Update patch Available NOW

Noticed over at Blue's News that Take 2 Games has issued a patch for Age of Wonders II: the Wizard's Throne , updating the isometric turn-based strategy game by Triumph Studios to version 1.1. The patch requires a 7.3 MB download and adds a new beginners difficulty level, more gameplay options, a sizable number of bug fixes, some balance changes and more, as detailed in the included Readme file (thanks Blue's News).
