“MechAssault,” a futuristic sci-fi third-person shooter game, will allow gamers to command a huge walking tank known as a BattleMech. Players will battle foes and take out enemy structures while manoeuvring a huge BattleMech, or ’Mech, through a variety of environments. A dozen powerful BattleMechs are available in “MechAssault,” each with massive firepower. “MechAssault” features complete destruction on a level never seen before – everything in the world can be destroyed bit by bit. Gamers can play a variety of missions with multiple objectives that require tactics and skill. “MechAssault” on Xbox also will include online features. Yesterday the official 'German' demo became available, go get it if you havent yet. A futuristic racing game in the style of the 'Fifth Element'. I am not much of a racing freak but the game looks pretty nice.. lots of action, power ups, cops chasing you, several cars to choose from (the demo only has 2 but more will be in the full game). There are 2 maps in the demo, one where u steal a car and one where u race against a few NPC's .. check the screens!

Project Three today announced that starting Tuesday March 26th 12.00 CET the highly anticipated Public Multiplayer Beta of the next-gen tactical first person shooter New World Order will be downloadable for public use at the following location. The playable demo will also be mirrored by several other websites, to allow people to pick their optimal download location.

Today the official Elder Scrolls III: Morrowind site offers a new trailer from this upcoming 3D RPG. The movie sports two minutes of game-footage and some ingame action.

Sony Online just tossed up the official site for their upcoming MMORPG expansion, EverQuest: The Planes Of Power. You can find FAQ's, screens, features and much more on this new "flash" site. Check it out.

New World Order Multiplayer demo will be coming to a computer near you ... according to the Project3 forum admin its scheduled for next week, the 26th March isnt that the date Global Ops should hit the shevles?). For the people who have been hiding under a rock the past few months, New World Order is a eagerly awaited First Person Shooter in the pure Counterstrike style ... I have been following the NWO forum for a few weeks and tensions were growing and the atmosphere grimmer by the day, but alas next week our suffering will come to an end. There isnt much known about it but from what we have seen, its looking mighty good! We'll see you all on Tuesday, on the battlefield!
