Microsoft has issued a new patch for their recently released shooter Halo: Combat Evolved. This upgrade brings your retail copy to v1.02 and adds support for multiple instances to the Bungie dedicated server, enabling Bungie & the community to roll out many more servers for gamers. Also introduced are client support for RCon (Remote Console), allowing dedicated server operators to have control over their servers running in data centers. 'Uru: Ages Beyond Myst' Gets Peter Gabriel Music

Ubisoft has teamed up with Peter Gabriel to add a distinctive sound to its Myst franchise of games. Gabriel will provide the song, "Burn You Up, Burn You Down" for the November release of Uru: Ages Beyond Myst and the world-renowned artist will also provide an original composition for the next game in the series. Myst is one of the most widely recognized game brands in history, with more than 12 million copies sold worldwide.
