Valkyria Chronicles, known in Japan as Valkyria of the Battlefield, is set in a fictitious continent reminiscent of 1930s Europe - divided in two and ruled by the Empire and the Federation. The game follows a hero named Welkin and his fellow soldiers of the Federation’s 7th Platoon as they engage in a series of epic battles.

Sony has rolled out new PlayStation Store content starting with a demo for NARUTO: Ultimate Ninja Storm, 8bit Games' elephant herding puzzle game Elefunk (free demo/$4.99 for the full game), or fans of the PSOne classic Rayman can get the full game ($5.99) for the PS3/PSP. There are of course also the usual game/movie trailers, E3 trailers, PS3 themes and wallpapers.

'Dead Rising: Zombie Sacrifice' (Wii) Revealed - Screens

According to the latest issue of Famitsu, Capcom is bringing 2006's X360 zombie slasher to the Wii, albeit it with several changes. The photography feature has been replaced by a new camera system making the game more action/object oriented. The original's time-lapsed gameplay, causing a lot of players grief due to the frequent dying/shoddy save system, has been removed. Currently only scheduled for release in Japan, end of the year.
