Dragon Ball: Sparking! Zero brings the series forward to a new era by harnessing the power of Unreal Engine 5 and pushing the envelope for gameplay and features in an arena brawler. Dragon Ball: Sparking! Zero also brings the franchise back to the original Japanese naming convention, where the original Dragon Ball Z: Budokai Tenkaichi was titled Dragon Ball Z: Sparking!
The game’s gravity-defying fights promise to ‘shake the earth, break the heavens’, with each Dragon Ball character’s signature destructive powers and Ki abilities showcased in stunning detail with damage capable of destroying entire parts of the arena.

Dragon Ball: Sparking! Zero brings back and enhances gameplay elements that the franchise has been known and cherished for, making battles even more spectacular, faster, impressive and authentic to the anime. Evolved features such as Short Dashes – explosive bursts of speed that can be used to create openings, and Revenge Counters, which absorb an opponent’s attack and return it to them, Skill Count and Vanishing Assaults have been added, giving chances for players to counterattack their foes, and add more strategy to their fights.
Plenty of new and returning mechanics, lightning-paced combat, large destructible environments, and stunning visuals powered by new-gen platforms combine to make Dragon Ball: Sparking! Zero the sequel to the vaunted Dragon Ball Z: Budokai Tenkaichi series fans have been waiting for after a more than a 15-year hiatus.
