Heroes of Newerth, a session-based multiplayer Action/RPG, is heavily inspired by the popular Warcraft 3 mod, Defense of the Ancients (DotA), but with vast improvements in graphics and gameplay.This revival is a true passion project, created by a team made up of original Heroes of Newerth developers, dedicated community members, and seasoned industry veterans.
This new chapter brings the spirit of the beloved MOBA back to life, refreshed with modern technology, improved visuals, and a completely reworked user experience, while staying true to what made the original a fan favorite.
Rebuilt on a new engine, Heroes of Newerth: Reborn features enhanced graphics, smoother performance, and all-new mechanics like Ravens to assist with sight and Kongor as an ally to push lanes.
The open beta for Heroes of Newerth: Reborn is available today on PC via the Juvio platform.
Kongor Studios also announced an upcoming $100,000 tournament during the open beta, open for all players and with an open qualifiers structure. More info about how to participate will be shared in the near future.
