No More Room in Hell 2 is an eight- player co-op horror shooter with consequences.

Powered by Unreal Engine 5, No More Room in Hell 2 takes place at the onset of an immersive, active zombie apocalypse. With a combination of classic zombie enemies in a grounded yet terrifying survival story, this true PvE 8-player co-op game will instill terror into players while offering fresh, tactical gameplay, high-stakes permadeath and intricate combat design. Live together or die alone as players must survive, scavenge, stockpile and extract - then repeat, each time in an ever-changing experience that combines survival horror and rogue-like genres with a terrifying socially emergent experience unfolding over proximity VOIP.

Set within a massive map with three richly detailed regions and multiple start points, each playthrough provides countless surprises and scares. With dozens of iconic horror movie scenes playing out as places of interest, unique objectives and rewards and secrets, players must start out alone in the dark and make their way towards the center of the map in the hope of achieving extraction. Through the perilous journey, they solve puzzles, encounter fellow survivors and slay hordes of the undead, in this endlessly replayable horror experience. During early access, the game will be regularly updated with new content and features, including the launch of an additional map where the story of the outbreak will further be revealed.

Now a commercial release, in the sequel to the 2011 award-winning Source mod, players start isolated in the dark, find their friends and survive - in a dynamic, endlessly replayable zombie apocalypse. With enemies and map locations inspired by classic zombie movies in a grounded yet terrifying survival story, the game will instill terror into players while offering fresh, tactical gameplay, high-stakes permadeath and intricate combat design that rewards cunning, teamwork and grit.

Each match, you’ll go from shaking solo in the darkness with only a beer bottle, to forming a fully stocked co-op squad with assault rifles and explosives. An ever-present threat remains: if a responder dies, all of their progress is lost. This is co-op with consequences.

Developer Torn Banner Studios and Green Man Gaming announced that No More Room in Hell 2 has sold over 1 million units since its 1.0 launch on August 11, 2026.

The title surpassed 1 million total players in its first week of launch, climbing as high as #4 on Steam's US Top Sellers chart to outrank major AAA releases including Madden NFL, Star Wars, Lord of the Rings, and Marvel titles. It became the 4th best selling game in August on PlayStation 5 in North America, with player sentiment on Steam peaking at 90% positive this same period.

Torn Banner Studios has achieved a new studio milestone, with No More Room in Hell 2 officially becoming the developer's largest launch to date. Driven by continuous gameplay optimisations and expanding community momentum since Early Access, the co-op zombie survival title continues to deliver deep player engagement. Since its 1.0 launch, players have killed over 1.3 billion zombies across 22.2 million successful Responder extractions - averaging 19.3 hours of playtime per user to solidify the game's standing as a flagship 8-player tactical horror experience.

To celebrate this achievement, Torn Banner Studios and Green Man Gaming are offering players 25% off on Steam and the Epic Games Store throughout October. A 20% discount will follow on Playstation and Xbox Stores later this month.

Steve Piggott, CEO & Creative Director at Torn Banner Studios, said: “Crossing over 1 million units sold is a huge milestone for us, and marks No More Room In Hell 2 as one of the most commercially successful multiplayer survival horror releases in recent years. Torn Banner is a passionate team that have worked tirelessly for the last two years to make the much-needed improvements that were asked of us. We are thrilled by the reception and have some exciting updates planned to keep players entertained.”

The development of No More Room in Hell 2 is led by a core team of veterans from Torn Banner Studios and the original developer, Lever Games. Lever Games has been fully acquired by Torn Banner Studios with a full team driving to an experience that will raise the bar for co-op shooters.

No More Room in Hell 2 is available for PC (Steam / Epic Games Store), PS5 and Xbox Series X|S, with cross-play available across all platforms.
