New fantasies and incredible stories await in Age of Wonders 4: Expansion Pass 4, a selection of content that makes this deep, endless game deeper still. The Singer of Storms pack, available now, alongside the forthcoming The Silver Seas expansion, invites players to conquer the oceans and rule the waves with a myriad of Maritime features. Early next year, players will wander the wild woods and embrace their true natures in the Court of the Archfey expansion, and craft glorious dwarven empires and mighty creations in the Forge of the Firstborn expansion.
Arriving on November 3, The Silver Seas is an expansion that invites players to explore oceans that are rich with mystery, master the tides to claim their hidden treasures, and become the undisputed ruler of the waves. The expansion centers around the new Mercantile culture, built on turning every deal, alliance, and rivalry into profit. Place cities on both land and sea, and expand your influence, always getting more out of the bargain than anyone else. Choose between two ruthless subcultures: the Cartel, masters of information and manipulation who run camouflaged smuggling routes and turn stolen leverage into battlefield advantage; and the Barony, wealthy trade princes and nobles who command armies and place bounties on their enemies. The Silver Seas will also include:
- Two New Forms to conquer the seas, the elegant and otherworldly near-human Aqualon, and the monstrous, toothy, battle-hungry Sharkkin
- Four New Tomes providing the power to manipulate the waterways, plunder your rivals, summon the souls of the damned, and even freeze the ocean itself
- New World Map Content including a pirate dwelling with a variety of possible captains at the helm, each with their own personalities, benefits, demands, and stories to tell. The map is also awash in new aquatic events, Landmarks, Ancient Wonders, and Infestations of the sea, and a new Magic Material to fuel your empire
- New Wildlife Units from electric crabs to schools of frenzied fish and more
- New Music, New Interface Skin, New Realm Options and enough extras to drown in
The Singer of Storms pack is available today, which includes a new premade ruler, a new Storm Seamare mount, and various new customization options for Champions, Wizard Kings, and Elder Vampire Hybrids.
In addition, the free “Witch Update” patch is available today for all players, and includes assorted fixes, improvements, and a magic Flying Broom for heroes to ride into battle.
Future additions to Expansion Pass 4 will include Court of the Archfey, scheduled for release in Q1 2027, which will add a new Ruler Type, new Form, new Story Realms and more, allowing players to weave magics of glamour and illusion, forge alliances with the spirits of the deepwood, and bend the changing seasons to their will. This will be followed by Forge of the Firstborn in Q2 2027, where players will journey to the ancient halls of the Dwarves and reclaim their lost mastery over life and steel. This expansion will focus on customization and crafting, featuring new customization options, a new form, new story realms, new tomes, and a new forge mechanic.
