'Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2' Celebrates 10th Anniversary With The Final Festival Of Universes Event Later This Week - Trailer

by Rainier on Oct. 26, 2026 @ 10:39 a.m. PDT

Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2 builds upon the original title with enhanced graphics that will further immerse players into the largest and most detailed Dragon Ball world ever developed.

As history is being attacked and altered by evil intruders, players will have to become Time Patrollers in order to protect the Past and the Future of the Dragon Ball world. New and powerful foes coming from Dragon Ball movies (such as Slug, with more to be revealed) will do their best to succeed in their wicked deeds.  To fight them, Time Patrollers will gather in a huge new city that is 7 times bigger than “Toki Toki City” from the previous game. Conton City is the name of the new main hub where all players can undertake quests, train at school, enter fights, shop and more. On top of a massive city that will allow for up to 300 simultaneous players, Bandai Namco Entertainment and DIMPS have implemented new exciting features: including that each playable race will have different rewards for their missions.

Last but not least, it has been confirmed that Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2 will have a local versus mode with several environments to duke it out in;  and that the will run at 60 fps on all platforms, allowing for a smoother experience with highly animated fights.

Bandai Namco Entertainment America Inc. today announced that Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2 will be celebrating its 10th anniversary with the Final Festival of Universes, starting October 29 at 5:00 PM PDT.

In this global celebration of the game, hard-to-find items will return, along with some special items that can unlock rewards for the upcoming Dragon Ball Xenoverse 3.

During the Final Festival of Universes, players can increase their camaraderie level with characters who have accompanied them on their journey, including Trunks, The Supreme Kai of Time, and Fu. In addition, hard-to-obtain items will also return, and players can earn 25 times the usual number of Star Coins, making it easier to exchange them for rewards.

Taking part in the Final Festival can also grant players a new Gi designed for the occasion, along with a commemorative medal. Possessing either of the items will allow players to unlock special items in Dragon Ball Xenoverse 3, depending on the item they own, by linking their Bandai Namco ID, once the game becomes available in 2027.

A free update, available on October 27, will also bring new Login Bonus Rewards, Special Costumes and an update to the Gallery of Time, which can be unlocked by purchasing the DLC FUTURE SAGA Chapter 4.
