EVE Vanguard is an extraction-adventure FPS set on the ruthless planets of New Eden. Raid crash sites, assault forward bases and seize exotic tech before colossal Nemesis Drones hunt you down. Every mission is a race against time. Every extraction shapes a larger war. This is only the beginning.
EVE Vanguard is set on the merciless planets of New Eden. Players deploy from space as technologically immortal Warclones – whose consciousnesses are stored within neural implants and transferred between expendable bodies – onto hostile surfaces to raid crash sites, assault enemy structures, and secure advanced technology before extraction.
Between deployments, Warclones return to the Warbarge, a mobile command space where they craft and procure equipment before preparing their loadout for the next incursion. Weapons are modular and can be reconfigured with multiple fire modes and damage types via chipsets, allowing players to constantly adapt and evolve their tactics.
With intense PvPvE combat, each run places players into direct competition with escalating planetary defenses and rival Warclones, pushing them to emerge upgraded, improved, and ready to fight again. Roaming drones guard sites containing crucial resources, while higher-value rewards must be hacked into or forced open under pressure.
Every action carries risk: pushing deeper into sites or remaining active for too long draws a response. Alarms escalate, and hostile reinforcements are deployed to secure the area, tightening control. The longer players remain, the more forceful and coordinated that response becomes, culminating in chaingun-armed Oppressors descending from the sky to eliminate any living threat that remains.
Fenris Creations invites players to take New Eden’s empire conflict to the ground inEVE Vanguard, revealing Founder's Packs starting at $15 USD and a roadmap towards Steam Early Access in Q3 2027. The in-development extraction-adventure FPS opens live 24/7 paid alpha access on PC through the EVE Launcher on 10 November 2026 at 11:00 UTC, alongside EVE Online: Fractured Skies and the first permanent connection between the two games.
November’s alpha expands EVE Vanguard’s extraction-adventure gameplay with three new maps spanning New Eden’s security levels, deeper weapon progression and the Gallente BR-60 Battle Rifle. A refreshed new-player journey, new Vanguard Suit and improvements to movement and combat build on the experience as players develop their Warclone’s arsenal between deployments.
Founder’s Packs and Access
Founder’s Packs begin at $15 USD. Every pack includes a Resonant Key and the same Deployment-Ready Bundle of weapons, grenades and gear, with additional contents available at higher tiers:
- Resonant Pack ($15): Includes permanent access through the EVE Launcher into full release, plus the Deployment-Ready Bundle of weapons, grenades and gear, the Keshik M247 Tier-2 blueprint and a support crafter program blueprint. Every Founder’s Pack includes this access and the same Deployment-Ready Bundle.
- Contraband Packs ($30 each): Drawing on the mercenary corporations Circle of Huskarl, Crux Special Tasks Group, Amarr Templars and Zumari Force Projection. Each includes a Resonant Key, its corporation’s skin line for all four weapons, an empire weapon charm and a weapon or equipment blueprint.
- Fulcrum Pack ($100): Includes a Resonant Key, all 16 weapon skins, all four faction emblems, all faction blueprints and the Banshee M247, a faction variant weapon available for purchase only during Founder Access.
- Legacy Pack ($514): Includes everything in the Fulcrum Pack, an exclusive Avalon weapon emblem, VIP Discord access, a video call with the development team, the player’s name in the lore and a ticket to EVE Fanfest 2027. Its $514 price pays tribute to DUST 514, whose veteran mercenaries first took New Eden’s wars to the ground. The four corporations behind the Contraband Packs also draw on that shared history.
“The saga of the Warclone began with DUST. It continues with Vanguard. Founders will be the first on the ground and write the next chapter with us. Welcome back, mercs. Let’s finish what we started.” said Snorri Árnason, Executive Producer of the EVE Universe.
“EVE players know what it means to fight for something that lasts beyond a single battle. We want Warclones to feel that same connection to New Eden, with friends flying above them and a reason to care about what happens on the ground,” said Scott Davis, Game Director for EVE Vanguard. “This is still an alpha (bugs included), and there is a lot for us to build. Joining now means helping us shape that experience as we develop it"
Launching alongside EVE Online: Fractured Skies on November 10, the alpha also establishes the first 24/7 connection between the two games. Warclones complete jobs that generate additional campaign sites appearing in highsec and lowsec space, with EVE Online's capsuleers securing them to obtain valuable rewards - including items that contribute to Military Campaigns.
In Q2 2027, Warclones will be able to enlist in Factional Warfare and aid their chosen empire’s Conquest, extending their role in the conflict shared with EVE Online.EVE Vanguard’s alpha marks the start of ongoing live development, with Founders helping shape its evolution through regular play and feedback as the team works towards Steam Early Access, with roadmap dates and features subject to change.
The EVE Vanguard paid alpha is available exclusively through the EVE Launcher, until its planned Steam Early Access release in Q3 2027.
Become a Founder: Packs and Roadmap
Warclones,
The wait is almost over.
Over a decade ago, DUST 514 went boots-on-the-ground in New Eden for the first time. For a while, mercenaries and capsuleers fought the same war, and some of you never stopped believing that war belonged on the ground as much as in the skies.
Now the engines are starting up again.
On 10 November, New Eden ground war revs up once more, and this time it stays live forever. EVE Vanguard enters 24/7 alpha, alongside the Fractured Skies expansion for EVE Online, establishing a permanent connection between two games, growing in scale, complexity, and consequence. And this is just the beginning. Where we go from here is up to EVE Vanguard Founders.
You have the opportunity to get in at ground zero. Will things get messy? We sure as hell hope so. Are you in?
What an Alpha Means
Just so it’s clear, we’re not talking Alpha clone status. This is alpha, as in what comes before beta.
However, this isn't the build you played in earlier playtests. Tense extraction, immersive worlds, and powerful weapons form the foundation, and we're building on it every week. Watch the November alpha announcement to see it in action.
For our founders, these aren't playtests anymore; the doors stay open now. It is an alpha, so you will see things break, we hope to see you break them alongside us. Grab your spare key, bring your mates, and get in here.
FC Collins, Game Director
The alpha is accessible in the EVE Launcher only. EVE Vanguard comes to Steam with the Early Access launch in Q3 2027.
Please note that Omega time in EVE Online does not include access to EVE Vanguard. To deploy in the alpha, you'll need a Founder Pack.
Become a Founder
Founders are Vanguard in the truest sense. Without you, there is no war on the ground. Every deployment you make, every extraction you fight through, and every piece of feedback you share will shape EVE Vanguard as it grows out of alpha and into the stages that follow. You’ll be building the game with us.
Every Founder Pack carries a Resonant Key, which is a perfect metaphor for the resurgence of the warclones. Every mind that crosses over to Avalon is tuned to one. The Graft authenticates the key, the armor binds it to the Warclone, and through Resonance, your mind exists in two places at once: on the battlefield, and in the Resonant Garden, the hidden place where every Vanguard mind is kept and every deployment is recorded.
Your key is your invitation to cross over and build a new world. Redeem it once, and it’s yours for good: through the alpha, through every stage of development, and into full release. Buy once, deploy for good.
Those who cross first will be remembered.
What's New in EVE Vanguard
EVE Vanguard has changed since you last deployed. Here's what's waiting for you on 10 November 2026.
New Ways to Find Your FeetA refreshed tutorial and missions with narrative briefings introduce you to life as a Warclone. Then head to the new Job Board, where short missions pay out in rewards and resources.
Three New Maps, Three Levels of RiskFor the first time, your deployments span the three security levels of New Eden. The deeper you go, the greater the danger, and the richer the reward.
- High Castle (highsec): Lay siege to a fortress where Upwell and Mordu's Legion have been experimenting with Warclone technology. There's no PvP damage here, so deploy solo or with your squad and take on shared objectives.
- Vorago (lowsec): Descend into a hostile chasm where Upwell has been digging for rare resources and dumping its failed experiments. Enemy forces and rival Warclones stand between you and extraction. Fight for your haul, and make it out alive!
- The Vault (nullsec): Three squads of three enter a deadly PvP labyrinth that reshapes itself between deployments. Inside wait rare Weapon Cores, used to craft high-tier weapons. Three squads go in, and only one makes it out with the prize.
The Lost Convoy returns, too, as a lowsec deployment.
Every weapon now comes in tiered, more powerful variants. Use a weapon family to earn Weapon Telemetry, then spend it on stronger variants and new loadout choices. The Gallente BR-60 Battle Rifle joins the arsenal: a mid-range hybrid rifle capable of taking down any foe, with upgraded versions offering different fire modes and enhancements.
Forged in AvalonDeploy in the new Vanguard Suit, the first of its kind, hand-crafted in the forges of Avalon. Along with cosmetic changes, the new suit also empowers you to vault and mantle across medium and high cover. Refreshed interfaces for squad formation, fitting, deployment, and post-battle reports look and feel sharper than ever.
Sharper CombatImproved aiming down sights, better enemy behavior, simpler healing with craftable healing items, and brand-new grenade types make every fight count.
The War on the Ground
Fractured Skies marks a major milestone: the first evergreen, 24/7 connection between EVE Online and EVE Vanguard, feeding directly into the empire conflict.
Every job you complete in EVE Vanguard increases the number of special campaign sites appearing across highsec and lowsec in EVE Online. These anomalies cover PvE, mining, and exploration, and they're packed with more campaign items than regular sites. Capsuleers can run them for rewards, or turn their items in to push their empire's campaign forward.
Every fight you win on the ground echoes in the skies above. Have friends flying in EVE Online? Coordinate with them, and bridge the gap between space and the planets of New Eden! People can now work below to generate sites above and create more ways to get space-rich.
Then, starting in Q2 2027, Warclones will be able to enlist in Factional Warfare and aid their chosen empire's Conquest, fighting for the same cause on the ground and in the skies.
The Packs
As you take to the ground as a Founder, you will get everything you need to make your presence known on the battlefield. Every Founder Pack includes a Resonant Key and the same Deployment-Ready Bundle: weapon blueprints, resources for ammo, and other crafting materials for your warclone to carry into the field. These packs don’t sell power, but they do let you bypass some of the grind.
The Gear Makes the Warclone
Escaping the Fulcrum meant risking true death. The Warclones risked it anyway. In one coordinated strike, they seized Upwell's industrial teleporters, rebuilt them into bridges under fire, and crossed to Avalon, paying for every step with blood and with memory. They answer to no empire.
The Lords of Avalon rule from on high. Below them, the Warclones fight for loot, for glory, and for Resonance, the mark of every deed a Vanguard is remembered for.
And they did not arrive empty-handed! Every Contraband Pack is a shipment looted from one of four legendary mercenary corporations, each bearing an empire's colors. Choose the look you want to carry into battle, or the empire you want to pay tribute to.
The Fulcrum Pack carries the origin myth itself: every line of contraband, every emblem, and the Banshee M247, forged in Avalon.
The Resonant Garden remembers every Warclone who crossed. With the Legacy Pack, it remembers you by name, forever. Avalon is calling. Answer!
Bring your squad.Do you have weekend plans? Well, you do now, and so do your friends! The entry level Resonant Pack is less than a pizza, and you can team up with your friends to dominate the battlegrounds of New Eden.
Support the DevsTo back the Fenris London team, hard at work building EVE Vanguard, choose Support the Devs at $15, $50, or $100, as often as you like. Note that if you’re looking to play the alpha, this won’t grant access. We are grateful for your support, but we also want to see you hit the ground with us. Choose the right pack for you!
DUST 514 LegacyYou were the first Vanguard.
Long before a Warclone set foot on Avalon, you took the war to the ground of New Eden and proved that boots belonged beside the ships. You kept ground warfare alive through all the years since. For that we thank you.
The four mercenary corps behind the Contraband Packs come from your war. The Legacy Pack, at $514, records your founding status and gives you a ton of goodies, in addition to everything from the Fulcrum pack. You will receive an exclusive Avalon emblem, access to a VIP Discord, a video call with the developer team, a ticket to EVE Fanfest, your name in the lore, and more.
The Road AheadThe saga of the warclone began with DUST. It continues with Vanguard. Founders will be the first on the ground and write the next chapter with us. Welcome back, mercs. Let’s finish what we started.
