NVIDIA Will Rolls Out RTX Remix Advanced Particle VFX Update, Marvel Rivals GeForce Reward, And New DLSS Games Updates

by Rainier on April 21, 2026 @ 6:00 a.m. PDT

NVIDIA has released RTX Remix Advanced Particle VFX with new modder features, NTE launches with DLSS suite; '83 enters Early Access with DLSS 4/4.5 upgrades, and get the free  Marvel Rivals Thor costume via NVIDIA app.

The new Advanced Particle VFX system we announced at GDC this year has now been released, enabling modders to create even more impressive and immersive mods, as demonstrated by WoodBoy's Quake III Arena RTX demo. This update stems from a previous one that introduced a path-traced particle system, enabling modders to replace a game’s legacy particles with modern, physically simulated ones. Modders’ love for the tech resulted in a long wishlist of over a dozen new capabilities they wanted to see added, and now almost all of those requests have been fulfilled with the release of a new Remix update. including:

  • Remix particles now support Dynamic Animations, allowing modders to sculpt the animation of many effects over the lifetime of a particle, enabling mesmerizing aesthetics.
  •  Remix’s physics simulation has been bolstered with Complex Gravitational Effects, so particles can now be magnetically attracted or repulsed by a location in the level, or carried through the air by directional wind.
  • And finally modders can experiment with Randomized Elements, allowing them to create effects that surprise and delight with how varied they are.

Also this week, a new NTE (Neverness To Everness) update launches in China, followed by a global release next week, adding DLSS Super Resolution, DLSS Ray Reconstruction, DLSS Multi Frame Generation, and path-traced effects. Also, ‘83 enters Early Access with DLSS 4 Multi Frame Generation and DLSS 4 Super Resolution - via NVIDIA app, GeForce RTX 50 Series players can upgrade to DLSS 4.5 Super Resolution and DLSS 4.5 Dynamic Multi Frame Generation, Sudden Strike 5 launches with DLSS Super Resolution and DLAA, and Atomic Heart: Blood On Crystal has been released with the ability to upgrade to DLSS 4.5 through the NVIDIA app. Additionally, to celebrate the launch of Marvel Rivals Season 7.5, NVIDIA app users can now get a free Thor Midgard Umber costume via GeForce Rewards while supplies last.

Finally, the DLSS 4.5 SDK with Dynamic Multi Frame Generation is now available to developers, providing direct access to the latest Super Resolution and Frame Generation updates. Built on Streamline, the SDK offers a consistent integration path across DLSS features, allowing developers to selectively adopt capabilities like Ray Reconstruction or Dynamic Multi Frame Generation.

Here’s a closer look at the new and upcoming games integrating RTX technologies:

  • PragmataCAPCOM’s Pragmata transports players to a lunar research station. In the years since the discovery of Lunam Ore, humanity has developed Lunafilament, a material capable of replicating almost anything. One day without warning, Earth lost contact with the station dedicated to this Lunafilament, as all signals went dark. After a chance meeting aboard the seemingly lifeless station, spacefarer Hugh Williams and android Diana find themselves caught in the crosshairs of a hostile AI in control of the station. Experience unparalleled fidelity and immersion in Pragmata on GeForce RTX 50 Series GPUs, thanks to immersive, PC-exclusive path-traced effects, accelerated by DLSS Multi Frame Generation, enhanced by DLSS Ray Reconstruction, and optimized by NVIDIA Reflex, giving you the definitive PC experience. And if you want the ultimate upgrade, to enjoy Pragmata at its absolute best, our Pragmata GeForce RTX 50 Series Bundle is available now, giving you a Steam copy of the game with the purchase of qualifying GeForce RTX GPUs or laptops.
  • ‘83: Blue Dot Games’‘83 enters Early Access on April 23, letting players take the side of NATO or Warsaw Pact forces in an authentic, realistic, yet accessible online first person tactical shooter. Natively, it includes support for DLSS 4 Multi Frame Generation and DLSS 4 Super Resolution, but via the NVIDIA app, all GeForce RTX 50 Series players can upgrade to DLSS 4.5 Super Resolution and DLSS 4.5 Dynamic Multi Frame Generation 6X Mode, further enhancing image quality, and accelerating performance.
  • NTE (Neverness to Everness): Hotta Studio’s NTE (Neverness to Everness) is an ambitious and unique online RPG that takes place in the city of Hethereau - a vast, seamless open world rendered with the power of Unreal Engine 5, where humans co-exist with supernatural anomalies. On April 23, NTE officially launches in China, bringing new content and a raft of tech updates, including the addition of DLSS and path tracing. And on the 29th, NTE launches everywhere else. When playing the launch version, DLSS Super Resolution will accelerate frame rates for all GeForce RTX users. DLSS Ray Reconstruction will enhance the fidelity of path-traced effects. And DLSS Multi Frame Generation will multiply performance for GeForce RTX 50 Series gamers.
  • Atomic Heart: Experience the thrilling, high-stake conclusion of Atomic Heart with Blood on Crystal, the game’s fourth and final DLC. Since the initial launch of Atomic Heart in 2023, the first-person action-adventure-shooter has included support for NVIDIA DLSS and NVIDIA Reflex, and ray tracing, enabling all GeForce RTX gamers to accelerate and enhance their experience. Now, using the NVIDIA app, upgrade the entirety of Atomic Heart to DLSS 4.5, giving you DLSS 4.5 Super Resolution, with enhanced image quality on all GeForce RTX 50 Series GPUs, and DLSS 4.5 Dynamic Multi Frame Generation 6X Mode, for the highest levels of performance on GeForce RTX 50 Series GPUs.
  • Sudden Strike 5: On April 23, Kite Games and Kalypso Media's Sudden Strike 5 will deploy, delivering a host of tactical options and more than 300 playable units, giving you multiple approaches to reaching your objectives in a 25 mission campaign on historical World War II battlefields in Europe and North Africa. In both the full game, and the Sudden Strike 5 Steam demo, players can activate DLSS  Super Resolution to accelerate frame rates, or DLAA to maximize image quality.
