Time is your resource to stay alive or to grow your strength. Gather it, use it strategically, and survive intense combat. No fixed roles—every match is built on your choices in Time Takers.

Players form teams of three, each selecting a "Time Traveler" from a diverse cast of characters drawn from different eras. They must battle other teams in a fight for survival, where only one team can emerge victorious.

During matches, players collect Time Energy to upgrade skills and equip apps that enhance combat performance. But Time Energy isn’t just a power-up — it’s also the lifeline that determines individual and team survival. Every second spent or saved becomes a strategic decision.

With distinct character abilities and flexible builds through weapon and app combinations, even the same character can play completely differently from match to match. This enables players to shape their own unique playstyles and discover new tactical approaches each time they enter the battlefield.

NCSOFT and developer Mistil Games are thrilled to announce that Time Takers invites players worldwide to join its second Exclusive Beta Test, running Friday through Sunday, June 26-28.

Players are encouraged to invite their friends, which will earn them the limited edition “Ep0ch” Character Skin. Sign-ups are easy: 1) Join the Time Takers Discord channel, 2) find the instructions on the main channel to enter, and 3) follow the instructions to invite a friend for the reward. 

This Second Exclusive Beta Test spans two-plus days*: 

• DAY ONE: 1 pm PT, Friday, June 26 through 2 am pt, Saturday, June 27 

• DAY TWO: 1 pm PT, Saturday, June 27 to 2 am PT, Sunday, June 28 (*The test runs into the early morning hours on Sunday)

• PLAY TIME: Participants will have the chance to play 13 hours each day

New players will experience Mistil Games’ distinctive 3v3 third-person shooter where time is the ultimate asset. Players use time to restore health, gain power and can even be used as a last resort to get out of some of the most difficult situations. Across a variety of time-fractured battlefields, players collect "Time Energy" to upgrade abilities in real-time to outlast opponents in stylish, high-speed, tactical combat. Adapt or run out of time.

Returning Beta players will experience new changes and improvements in this second test, such as 1) APP: Major app system rework, 2) VISUALS: Character visual updates, 3) KEYBINDS: Custom Key Binds, 4) MAP: players now have a new mini-map to help navigate the landscapes, and 5) QOL: Time Takers’ Quality of Life functions have been upgraded.  

For the Quality of Life improvements, players can expect better balance, stability, and queue dodging detection system and penalty implementation, which will minimize user impact during game server crashes. Additionally, the tutorial has been completely revamped to serve as a foundational starting point for both new and returning players. 

The Time Takers second Exclusive Beta Test is open to the global audience, but the main servers are optimized for North and South America. Players outside these regions are encouraged to join but may experience some latency.
