Time is your resource to stay alive or to grow your strength. Gather it, use it strategically, and survive intense combat. No fixed roles—every match is built on your choices in Time Takers.

Players form teams of three, each selecting a "Time Traveler" from a diverse cast of characters drawn from different eras. They must battle other teams in a fight for survival, where only one team can emerge victorious.

During matches, players collect Time Energy to upgrade skills and equip apps that enhance combat performance. But Time Energy isn’t just a power-up — it’s also the lifeline that determines individual and team survival. Every second spent or saved becomes a strategic decision.

With distinct character abilities and flexible builds through weapon and app combinations, even the same character can play completely differently from match to match. This enables players to shape their own unique playstyles and discover new tactical approaches each time they enter the battlefield.

NC and developer Mistil Games invite players from around the world to join its latest TIME TAKERS Steam Playtest. Players can request access by signing up on Time Takers’ Steam page.

The 72-hour Steam Playtest begins on Friday, September 4, 10 a.m. PT and ends on Monday, September 7 10 a.m., PT.

Building on feedback from previous Playtests, this Playtest incorporates overall improvements ranging from game systems, onboarding, matchmaking and overall game balance.

This upcoming Steam Playtest is expanding to players from wider regions around the world. Steam users who apply and are granted Playtest access will be able to freely play any time during the 72-hour window. Users who played in the previous Closed Beta Test will automatically receive access to the Steam Playtest.
