Delta Force will feature a storyline with realistic themes, employed real-life actors for character building, utilized photogrammetry for 3D world creation, captured tactical movements from military professionals, and sought guidance from former Special Forces personnel to ensure an authentic tone of resolute realism and professionalism within the military theme.

Gameplay will feature a strong dose of tactical combat in each mode, as players will select from four Operator classes at launch. Choose from the dominant firepower of the Assault class, showcase your superior tactics with the Engineer class, heal teammates and keep your team fighting on as a Support class or create havoc through the element of surprise as Recon class.

The game's campaign mode is based on Ridley Scott's Black Hawk Down movie, where players will be able to experience authentic and thrilling battles from the celebrated movie.

Celebrations are in order for the two year anniversary of Team Jade’s tactical shooter Delta Force, and Game Director Shadow gave players a ton of exciting updates to look forward to in today’s special anniversary broadcast.

From new maps to fresh game modes, see below for all that’s to come:

• Siege: Valkyrie – A new Operations map launching in early 2027, Siege: Valkyrie is set in a city under siege and runs on two rule sets: an opulent, inner city full of danger and an outer city where the strongest come out on top. Players can choose to play it safe and safely extract their findings, or make riskier moves for greater rewards. Plus, for the first time ever, players from different difficulty tiers will drop into the same matches for higher stakes.
• New Warfare Map – Implementation of Unreal Engine 5 features are taken further with an all-new Warfare map arriving November 2026. This new map brings a higher standard of visual fidelity, followed by even more maps throughout 2027.
• Detonation – Opening its beta for PC and mobile players on Sept. 27, Detonation is Delta Force’s new bomb defusal mode. As one team aims to plant a bomb, the opposing team must stop the plant or defuse the bomb altogether. Console players will receive access to the beta later this year ahead of the mode’s full release.
• Operator Archives – Launching today on Delta Force’s official channels is Operator Archives, a story series that dives deeper into Operator backstories. Additionally, Operator Quarters arrives in early 2027, and gives players a space to customize, lounge and socialize with friends.

Siege: Valkyrie

Coming in early 2027, Siege: Valkyrie will expand Operations with a new map built using Unreal Engine 5 features. Set in a city under siege, Siege: Valkyrie is divided by the city wall into two distinct areas with two different rules, risks and rewards. The inner city is opulent but dangerous, while the outer city is shaped by a harsher struggle for survival and resources. Players can choose to extract safely with what they have found, or push deeper into the city in pursuit of a significantly larger payout, risking everything in the process.

For the first time in Delta Force, players from different difficulty tiers will enter the same match, offering a new high-stakes Operations experience where nothing is predictable.

Warfare Evolves with Unreal Engine 5

Unreal Engine 5 features are already being introduced into Warfare with The Mog, the brand new Warfare map launching alongside Season Reorientation, supporting the technology. The next Warfare map, due to arrive in November of this year, will also push visual fidelity further, with additional maps planned throughout 2027.

Detonation Beta Launches September 27

Detonation, Delta Force's new bomb-defusal mode, opens its beta globally on September 27 at UTC+0 for PC and mobile players, with console access arriving later this year. Built around intense, objective-focused combat, Detonation pits two teams against each other in a race for control. Attackers must break through enemy defences and plant the bomb, while defenders fight to hold their ground, prevent the plant or defuse the objective before it is too late. Every round brings new tactical decisions as teams battle for key positions and look for the opening that could turn the tide.

Players can jump into the beta from September 27 to experience Detonation for themselves, and help shape the mode ahead of its full release by sharing feedback with the development team.

New Stories and Spaces for Operators

The first volume of Operator Archives launches today, offering a deeper look into the stories and backgrounds of Delta Force's Operators, available via the game's official channels. Looking ahead to early 2027, Operator Quarters will also arrive, giving players a dedicated space to customize, relax and socialize with friends.

RISE Series Season 2

Alongside the update, Delta Force’s competitive scene continues to thrive with the RISE Series, bringing teams from across EMEA and the Americas together to compete at the highest level. RISE Series Season 2 is now underway, with the top 12 international teams set to advance to the inaugural Delta Force Invitational at DreamHack Stockholm, taking place November 27–29.

Season Reorientation Begins the Second-Anniversary Celebrations

The first part of Delta Force's second-anniversary celebration, Season Reorientation, is live now, introducing a host of new content and quality-of-life improvements across Operations and Warfare. The update brings cross-region matchmaking, One-Click Loadout and a rebuilt tutorial to Operations, making it easier for players to get into the action and prepare for each match. The update also introduces the G.T.I. Field Manual and Combat Support Fund, alongside further quality-of-life improvements. Layali Grove 2.0 expands the map with new areas to explore, fishing and jet ski-based gameplay, while Polaris Patrol returns with a reworked play-as-a-boss experience, new rewards and the game's first craftable collectible.

On the Warfare front, The Mog introduces a new convoy escort experience inspired by Black Hawk Down, complete with ground and aerial combat.

Players can also begin earning special anniversary rewards today, including 3,900 limited-time Delta Tickets acquired through daily tasks. Even more, items like Golden State, a Legendary AUG appearance, a second-anniversary Charm and Badge, and a limited Red collectible in Secret Haavk airdrops can also be claimed.

Delta Force: Hawk Ops launches with three exciting, distinct game modes: 

• Large-Scale PvP Mode - Havoc Warfare: Compete as part of a large team and take the fight to the enemy as you battle across massive maps featuring authentic terrain and including a range of military vehicles, tanks and aircraft.  
• Extraction Mode - Hazard Operations: Squad up and take on rival teams and marauding AI-controlled mercenaries and Royal Guards in Hazard Operations, the most tactical take on the popular extraction genre to date. Random events across huge maps will keep players on their toes, while challenging PvE-focused missions can be completed for valuable loot.   
• Campaign Mode - Black Hawk Down: An exciting recreation of the classic Delta Force campaign mode sees a return to Mogadishu to participate in the events of the 2001 Black Hawk Down movie. Featuring both characters and likenesses from the film, while also serving as an officially licensed remaster of the original Delta Force: Black Hawk Down video game.
