Your decisions still shape the story: who falls victim, and who survives Until Dawn…
The Until Dawn 2 cast this time is a crew of ghost hunters, the faces behind the wildly popular paranormal channel, Dead True.. Only, well… they’ve never actually seen anything supernatural. The scares they are known for are, let’s say, a little staged. But all that changes when for the very first time, they come face-to-face with real horrors and must start living up to their reputation to survive until dawn.
Having just signed a deal with a big TV network, the crew gets shipped off to an abandoned tropical island for their first fully funded episode. At first, it’s all sun, sand, secrets… plus some very not-safe-for-the-workplace drama as their complicated relationships bubble to the surface.
Of course, there’s more to this beautiful island than meets the eye. Beneath this blissful exterior, hide dreadful and heartbreaking secrets – centuries old and hungry for vengeance… and our crew have landed right in the middle of it.
Will you guide all the team of fake ghost hunting Youtubers “Dead True” (plus their plucky chicken companion!) safely off Akishima Island? Or will the horrors claim a few… or even all… as you face the chilling horrors of this beautiful yet deadly paradise?

We’ve partnered with our friends at AdHoc Studio – the brilliant minds behind the acclaimed Dispatch – so you can expect a deeply layered story packed with rich characters, razor-sharp dialogue, fraught relationships, tough decisions, and yes… more than a few gruesome deaths. Every choice, every interaction can ripple with dramatic consequences.
Watch the pre-order trailer
Check out the above new trailer: you’ll see the Dead True crew investigating Blackwood Sanitorium, shooting an episode about the tragic events that unfolded 12 years ago. Izzy (Sarah Catherine Hook), the team’s new intern, uncovers something she never expected, before upending their plans in chilling fashion.
Later, at HorrorCon in Sydney, they meet Yoona (Gia Kim), a survivor of a terrifying supernatural attack—she pulls down her collar to reveal a dark, necrotic scar. Her warning sets the cast on a journey to a remote South Pacific island, abandoned since a luxury resort’s mysterious shutdown in the ’70s. But this island hides secrets, centuries old and hungry for vengeance. And Dead True are walking right into it.
It’s your choices that will shape each outcome. In the trailer, Owen (Dacre Montgomery) – Dead True’s cocky star – faces a crossroads: should he follow the signal to help his missing friend Nate (Spence Moore II), or take a detour across a rickety bridge to investigate a strangely lively bar? Could leaving Nate’s path lead to important clues that might help? Or does leaving Nate make him vulnerable to whatever it is that lurks in the shadows?
Meanwhile, Mina (Camila Senna), Dead True’s conflicted co-host, faces a gut-wrenching demand: the network wants a ritual sacrifice – live, on camera. Will you give in and sacrifice the chicken to please the bosses, or set it free and risk your own blood for the ritual instead.

Chasing likes might have brought them here, but survival quickly becomes the only metric that counts. Will you help them escape to tell the world their story, or will they become just another haunted legend, claimed by the island?
Would it even be an Until Dawn game without gut-wrenching decisions? Will you risk injury to save a cute baby boar from a gnarly bear trap? Keep a scandalous affair going, even if it could blow up the group? Push someone to their breaking point, all for the sake of content that your intimidating boss says you need to get?
This time, how you manage relationships within the crew matters more than ever, with some branches based on where things stand between characters. It’s not just the huge moments, even small character moments can set off a Butterfly Effect, sending your story spinning off towards unforeseen consequences…
