RTL Games' new publishing label Black Inc. has signed Black Sea Studios' real-time strategy game WorldShift, which is currently scheduled to launch in 2008. WorldShift is a next-gen, cyber-fantasy RTS game set in a dark future of Earth, where today's civilization is only a fading mysterious legend.

Midway has not only signed the European publishing rights to Neko Entertainment's fast and fun-packed GBA title Cocoto Kart Racer, but also for Myst (excluding South Africa, Australia & New Zealand) on NDS.

SimBin announced that its RACE 07 racing title sequel comes loaded with new features and game modes, more than 200 cars in 11 different car classes and host 20 different circuits from all over the world, several of them being city racetracks never before featured in a racing game.

Tecmo announced the impending release of three new downloadable survival modes for Ninja Gaiden Sigma. The first of the three downloadable modes will be released on the PlayStation Network on August 30, 2007 at a price of $2.99.

During QuakeCon, id Software revealed Rage, described as a mixture of 60% shooting and 40% driving. Rage is set in post-apocalyptic wasteland after a meteor hits earth and wipes out civilizations. You are tasked with helping various villages against mutants, monsters and an oppressive regime. As it's part racing, you will of course be able to upgrade and tune your vehicle. While not racing, you'll be able to explore the world, with a 20-hour single-player campaign and co-op.

Valve announced it has signed an agreement with id Software to bring id's entire portfolio of PC titles to digital content delivery platform Steam, including most Quake and Doom titles, as well as Hexen, and even Commander Keen.
