EA today revealed details on the upcoming Battlefield 2 v1.21 patch. A limited beta test will start end of the week to make sure that the patch is thoroughly tested before it goes out officially. The sequel to the destruction racer is set to accelerate its way onto the PS2, Xbox, and PC in the nitrous charged form of FlatOut 2 this June, courtesy of Bugbear Entertainment and Empire Interactive, while Vivendi Universal Games will distribute the title in the U.S.

While the current gen Rainbow Six Critical Hour was already announced a few weeks back, it seems the official Rainbow Six website has a clock counting down to 12 days from now, on which Ubisoft promises a major announcement. Speculations are of course going wild but it is interesting to note that the counter started ticking from 360 on down, maybe indicating that the Rainbow Six franchise is making the jump to Xbox 360.
