New 'Pikmin' Title Confirmed

At Nintendo's developer roundtable discussion at E3 2008, Shigeru Miyamoto announced, "We're making Pikmin." No details about the title, platform or release date were mentioned, but speculation is that the series' real-time strategy nature is best suited for the Wii.

'Wanted' (PS3/X360/PC) Curves its way to Video Games

Universal Pictures is creating a video game based on the "Wanted" movie. The game will be published worldwide by Warner Bros. and is being developed by GRIN, best known for its work on the Tom Clancy: Ghost Recon Advanced Warfighter series and the upcoming Bionic Commando.

Sony Offers Movies and TV Shows on PS3 and PSP

Sony announced the launch of a new video delivery service in the U.S. for the PlayStation 3 and PSP systems. Consumers will have the ability to download full-length movies and television shows through the PlayStation Store on PlayStation Network. The service will offer nearly 300 full-length movies and more than 1,200 TV episodes.

At Sony's press briefing, they revealed that the 80GB model of the PlayStation 3 console will become available this Sept. and retail for $399. Sony also announced a Ratchet and Clank Size Matters PSP Entertainment Pack, a Lego Batman PlayStation 2 Pack, and the launch of a PS3 Greatest Hits program for PS3 this July.
