In his latest podcast, Hideo Kojima confirmed the development of a MGS installment for the PSP, scheduled for fall 2007. Set in the 1970's, the PSP iteration will be set between MGS 3 and 4, and explain Foxhound's origin, and have Big Boss as the main character. Unlike the recent cardbased games, the new title will be an action game, wi-fi enabled, graphically on par with the franchise on PS2, feature several alternative pathways & solutions to missions and oddly enough the game will feature no "continues," when soldiers die, they are not coming back.
