Takeda 2 is a game of epic Samurai action, set in 16th century feudal Japan. Takeda 2 puts the player in the role of Daimyo, a feudal lord fighting for the title of Shogun, supreme military commander. Magitech has released the first patch for its strategy game, bringing the English retail version to v1.21, but no details as to what it fixes are available at this point.

2K Games has contracted with Even Balance, Inc. to integrate PunkBuster Anti-Cheat software into the highly anticipated PREY, currently being developed by Human Head Studios and executive produced by 3D Realms. PunkBuster Anti-Cheat features will be available "out-of-the-box" with the retail release of the game.

VU Games today announced that it has completed the purchase of independent developer, High Moon Studios. VU Games will retain High Moon's team of more than 100 development professionals, as well as rights to the studio's intellectual properties. High Moon recently released its first FPS title DarkWatch, published by Capcom.
