Electronic Arts today announced that it has signed a European distribution agreement with KOEI Co., Ltd for the upcoming tactical action game, Samurai Warriors. Samurai Warriors is developed by Koei's internal development team Omega Force, the studio behind the award-winning Dynasty Warriors series, and is planned for release on the PlayStation2 in June 2004.

"Project Freedom" is a space combat game that offers adrenaline pumping gameplay coupled with stunning graphics. The campaign is built around an original storyline that features several unexpected twists and turns. A stand alone tutorial mode and a simple, intuitive user interface let you immerse yourself in the game world without irritating delays. 21 complex missions will provide all players with many hours of exciting entertainment.
