Microsoft's Kinect Priced At $149.99, Rather Official

Kinect, previously known as Project Natal, is the new controller-free gaming and entertainment experience from Microsoft for its Xbox 360 console. While we revealed a few days ago that Amazon is currently taking pre-orders for the Kinect at $149.99, the price rumor gains credence by similar listings appearing on Gamestop and Microsoft's own online store.

A talented young agent cast out by his government, Thorton is the only one with the information needed to stop an impending international catastrophe. Obsidian revealed that it is currently working on a patch, but pending a SEGA decision it is unclear whether this will be coming shortly or somewhere down the road. The publisher also has not yet decided on any DLCs but but at this point there are none is development.

Final Fantasy XIV, an all new massively-multiplayer role-playing game set in the vast realm of Eorzea, is planned for a simultaneous global release on PS3 and PC. While initially it was said Square was talking with Microsoft to bring the MMO to X360, its Vice President of software development Hiromichi Tanaka revealed during E3 that "Currently there are no plans for a version for the Xbox 360".

Is You An Old Man Or Is You An Old Woman? I Forget

My hearing is slowly coming back after last night's Iron Maiden sonic fest, probably right on time for next weekend's Danzig concert. Poor eardrums!

We finally got all caught up with 24 and watched the final episode of the series last night. We enjoyed it greatly. It was very powerful stuff and a perfect ending to wrap up everything — well, until the movie comes out. One last hurrah for Jack Bauer!

This week will probably be a bit slower than usual, with people recovering from E3 and all, so maybe I'll find some time to catch up on Smallville and Criminal Minds.
