THQ Inc. and JAKKS Pacific, Inc. today announced "WWE SmackDown! Here Comes the Pain," the latest addition to their multi-million unit selling World Wrestling Entertainment videogame franchise. "WWE SmackDown! Here Comes the Pain," exclusively for the PS2, marks the third installment in the highly successful SmackDown! Series. According to NPD TRST, the SmackDown! series has sold more than 4.7 million units on the PlayStation and PS2 in North America since 1999. "WWE SmackDown! Here Comes the Pain" features all the action, excitement and attitude of World Wrestling Entertainment and is scheduled for release this fall.

Painkiller is a nickname of a pretty unusual mercenary, who is dealing with supernatural. There are places on Earth where demons and other evil creatures have their nests: abandoned prisons, private castles, deep caves in the mountains... "Cleaning" those places is good money, and our hero needs a lot of it, since he loves living the life to its fullest. One day he gets what seems to be a pretty simple job: to retrieve a religious artifact from one of the nests. When after a furious battle he realizes he might have been tricked into the war between two competing clans of the undead, he tries to play his own cards. Readm ore to check out the new screens ...
