Sony has rolled out its weekly PlayStation Store update with tons of new material. Just like on XBL, Harmonix has released the David Bowie songpack ($5.49 or $1.99/song) while Activision's Guitar Hero III: Boss Battles Track Pack is free. Motorstorm gets new vehicles and skins ($1.99), while Resistance: Fall of Man gets its second Map Pack (two new maps, each of which is playable in all sizes and all modes for $4.99). On top of that SCEA released the full game PAIN ($9.99) , and Bethesda made Elder Scrolls IV: Shivering Isles downloadable ($29.99).

Epic Games announced that it has acquired a majority interest in Warsaw, Poland-based game developer People Can Fly, best known for Painkiller, but most recently has been collaborating with Epic on the PC version of Gears of War. The two companies are collaborating on a new IP which Epic will be previewing privately at Games Convention in Leipzig, Germany this week.

In a recent developer chat session with People Can Fly's Andrzej Poznanski and Dreamcatcher's Robert Stevenson, a vague mention was made of a possible X360 version. A question whether the infamous carnival level would be included in the Xbox version resulted in Andrzej saying "Oh, that one was just too much for the console. You can see en entire level there and there was just too many polys to render, but maybe on Xbox 360... :) keep your fingers crossed!" Maybe we will get more details at E3, but so far it is not included in DreamCatcher's lineup.
