Ubisoft today announced that Tom Clancy’s Ghost Recon: Jungle Storm would release early in Q1 2004 exclusively for the PS2. Developed with PlayStation 2 players in mind, Tom Clancy’s Ghost Recon: Jungle Storm will fully exploit the capabilities of the platform with features such as popular voice command, and voice chat plus online statistics tracking and ladder ranking. Gotham Games a publishing label of Take-Two announced today that Conflict: Desert Storm II - Back to Baghdad for the PlayStation2 computer entertainment system, the Xbox video game system from Microsoft, and PC has shipped to retail outlets in North America. The game follows up on the successful title Conflict: Desert Storm, which sold over 750,000 units in North America since its launch in September 2002. Conflict: Desert Storm II captures all of the intense, third-person squad-based action of the original and builds on it as players command U.S. Delta Forces or British SAS over the sands of Iraq to crush what remains of Saddam's evil regime.

Power Rangers Ninja Storm for Game Boy Advance and PC features gameplay based on the new season, "Power Rangers Ninja Storm." The PC version will include a collection of mini-games in a classic arcade style and the GBA version will feature traditional side-scrolling gameplay. UK-based game publisher SCi Entertainment has acquired Pivotal Games for 2.36 million pounds (approximately 3.9 million dollars). Pivotal is the developer of the Conflict: Desert Storm series of tactical shooters and The Great Escape. Pivotal is completing the third game in the Conflict series and has begun development of the fourth. Pivotal Games was previously a subsidiary of Kaboom Studios – which recently closed its doors due to the poor performance of other components of its business. Pivotal currently employs approximately 70 people. The move is a unique one for SCi - which operates a business model generally based on outsourcing development to third parties.

Nival Interactive's new game Silent Storm scheduled for Worldwide release on PC CD-rom in September 2003 through JoWood Productions is using the high-end real time facial animation technology by LifeMode Interactive.
UPDATE: As it turns out Nival themselves passed on word that the demo is not due for another month.
