While we already knew Smallville actress Kristen Kreuk
signed on to play Chun-Li, Capcom revealed today that Michael Clark Duncan (Sin City, The Green Mile, Star Trek) has been cast as Balrog, Neal McDonough (Band of Brothers, Flags of Our Fathers, Boomtown) will be main villain M. Bison, Chris Klein (We Were Soldiers, American Pie) is Charlie Nash, while Taboo of Black Eyed Peas has signed on to play Vega. The film is scheduled for a 2009 worldwide release.

Street Fighter IV promises to deliver an extraordinary experience that will re-introduce the world to the time-honored art of virtual martial arts. So far only Ken, Ryu and Crimson Viper have been confirmed, but Japanese magazine Famitsu has revealed, ahead of Friday's official announcement, that the additional characters are: Blanka, Chun-Li, Dhalsim, Eddie, Guile and Honda.
Super Street Fighter IV features the full roster of 25 characters from Street Fighter IV such as Ryu, Ken, Crimson Viper, Abel, El Fuerte and Rufus, while adding about eight characters new to the world of Street Fighter IV, such as classic combatants from previous SF games like T. Hawk as well as all-new characters such as the mysterious and deadly female fighter, Juri.

Capcom has signed an agreement with Hyde Park Entertainment to produce a follow up to the 1994 original
Street Fighter movie, then starring Jean-Claude Van Damme. While the first movie featured most of the game's characters, the sequel will focus on the game's most popular female fighter, Chun Li, but the exact storyline is being kept under wraps. The new Street Fighter movie is scheduled for 2008, the 20th anniversary of the game franchise.

Tomorrow Xbox Live members will be able to download Capcom's Street Fighter II Hyper Fighting Arcade title from the Marketplace for 800 points. It will be available in all Xbox Live regions except Hong Kong, Japan, Korea, Singapore or Taiwan.
