Konami announced today new details about Castlevania: Dawn of Sorrow for the NDS. Set in the year 2036, DoS continues the storyline that first emerged in the critically acclaimed Castlevania: Aria of Sorrow for the GBA. While the new 2D side scrolling action game will contain all the classic gameplay that fans of the series have come to expect, Castlevania: Dawn of Sorrow will also incorporate innovative gameplay elements.

Konami announced today that the Castlevania franchise will make its debut on the the Xbox in fall 2005 with Castlevania: Curse of Darkness. While past Castlevania games have focused on the struggle between Dracula and the Belmont clan, Curse of Darkness introduces players to an entirely new storyline and main character – Hector, a Devil Forgemaster, and former Lieutenant of Dracula.

KOEI today announced the tenth edition of its historical simulation game will ship to North American retailers on June 21st, 2005. According to Amos Ip, Vice-President of Sales & Marketing, this title will combine "the series' successful core features, new political and battle elements, and the most stunning visuals yet for a refreshing take on the hallowed franchise."

Legacy Interactive announced today that the company has been awarded the interactive publishing rights for multiple game platforms, including the Xbox and the PSP, for a video game based on the hit television show, “The Apprentice.” The PC video game will be available in Fall 2005 and will be distributed by Vivendi Universal Games in North America.

Agetec today announced its plans to introduce five new titles at the E³ in booth W2660 at the Los Angeles Convention Center next week. Midway today announced that the latest entry into the Unreal franchise, Unreal Tournament 2007, is now in development. Like its predecessors, Unreal Tournament 2007, is being developed by North Carolina-based, Epic Games Inc. The game will be shown for the first time at the E3 in Los Angeles, May 18 - 20, in Midway's booth located at Petree Hall, room 4001.
