Sony Computer Entertainment Europe is delighted to announce the forthcoming release of Treasure Planet on PS one and PS2, the action adventure based on Disney's forthcoming animated movie.

JoWooD Productions Software AG is expanding this year's product portfolio with the addition of the tactical action game "SÖLDNER - Secret Wars", a game developed by Wings Simulations.

We got our hands on 30 new screens from Vivendi and their upcoming title, The Thing. "A sequel to Universal Studios' and John Carpenter's 1982 cult-classic horror film "The Thing," the video game picks up where the movie left off and features an all-new cast of characters. The player becomes Blake, a military squad captain sent into the frozen Antarctic to investigate the mysterious disappearance of an American scientific expedition. As fast as scuttling alien beasts, the questions arise: Is Blake a trustworthy leader? Are his fellow soldiers on his side? Or have they been infected by The Thing?"

There is a new Doom III movie available for download from the E3 presentation in L.A. a few days ago. This new "46MB" DivX movie is 11 min long, showing of some of the gameplay in Doom III. Grab it from following mirrors: Gamesweb, Dailyrush, Fragland.

UPDATE: Todd Hollenshead just asked several sites thats hosting this new movie to remove it from their sites. The video was recorded with a handheld camera and the footage showed the complete 11 minute presentation in L.A.

True Crime: Streets Of L.A. allows players to move freely through a 400 square mile living, breathing re-creation of the City of Angels. Players will be able to visit popular L.A. landmarks, or buy services from local gun merchants, mechanics or doughnut shops and improve Kang’s abilities by visiting auto simulators, dojo’s and gun ranges around town. True Crime: Streets Of L.A. is slated to ship in 2003.

Frictionless Insight has posted an hands-on E3 Preview of Neverwinter Nights. Neverwinter Nights is both an extensive single-player game in the Forgotten Realms setting, and a complete toolset for creating and playing adventures using the 3rd Edition Dungeons & Dragons rules.

Sixty thousand interactive entertainment professionals from more than 70 countries converged in Los Angeles for the eighth annual Electronic Entertainment Expo (E3Expo), according to the show's owner, the Interactive Digital Software Association (IDSA). Approximately 400 exhibitors showcased thousands of new computer and video games and products, including more than 1,000 never-before-seen titles.

Another 2 upcoming titles from Microsoft .. so many screens i did not want to put all these games in one post .. you might get bored too soon *g*. Rise Of Nations looks a mix between Empire Earth and Age Of Empire. They should have just called it Rise Of Empire or Empire Of Nations .. either way .. Njoy!

We have a boatload of screens from "Microsoft Combat Simulator 3" and "Impossible Creatures". Especially the Impossible Creatures one looks pretty nice .. my favorite animal is the Tiger mixed with the Zebra ... Njoy!

Koei is working on a Nintendo Gamecube game called "Mystic Heroes". Not much info on it at this time. Developed for Gamecube only and no specific release date as of yet ... at least we got some screens ;)

Well today there is confirmation that the game is steaming along very well and will be named "Platoon : The 1st Airborne Cavalry Division In Vietnam". Ubi Soft announced today that it has signed a major new European publishing and support agreement with Sony, to launch localized versions of EverQuest - the world's most successful massively multiplayer online game.

Following the success of its acclaimed versions of Robot Wars on PlayStation 2, PC and Game Boy, BBC Multimedia is publishing a heavy metal successor - Robot Wars - Extreme Destruction.

As the multiplayer beta test has already proven a success, all eyes await the single-player missions, which chronicle the events that will forever change the world of Azeroth. Warcraft III will be shown throughout E3, May 22-24, at booth #1200 in the South Hall of the Los Angeles Convention Center. With the game near completion, this summer will mark the first time in years that players will be able to return to the Warcraft universe, where Blizzard made its PC debut. For the first time, a Blizzard real-time-strategy game will be rendered in full 3D, allowing a more immersive and compelling experience.
