After a few weeks of deliberation and voting, our top games of 2007 are finally being unveiled! We're starting with titles that garnered honorable mentions; these nominees received a significant amount of votes but fell just short of making the cut. The January '08 issue of PlayStation: The Official Magazine reveals that Metal Gear Solid 4 and Metal Gear Online will be sold as a bundle. MGO will support up to 16 players in multiplayer (deathmatch, king of the hill, team deathmatch and team sneak) on five starter maps, so to get the full experience you'll most likely need to pay extra. Similar to CoD4, you will be able to upgrade your character through three special skills/perks as you play online.

Kohnke Communications, the public relations firm that handled Perpetual Entertainment's Gods and Heroes campaign, is suing the developer over breach of contract, fraudulent transfer of assets and other violations for $80,000 to $290,000 in damages. According to court documents revealed by Ten Ton Hammer, Kohnke alleges that Perpetual transferred the Star Trek Online license to a newly created company and canceled Gods and Heroes as a way of evading creditors.

Kart Attack (working title) is a new racing game for Xbox Live Arcade, the Playstation Network and Games for Windows - Live. Currently being developed by Blimey Games, the title lets you challenge opponents online, try to beat the intelligent AI characters or improve your own times at one of the exclusive themed circuits.

Time Magazine has compiled a list of its top 10 video game picks for the year. The usual suspects are present and accounted for (Bioshock, Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare, Legend of Zelda: Phantom Hourglass, Mass Effect, The Orange Box, Rock Band, Super Mario Galaxy), and there are a couple of surprises (Ace Combat 6 and God of War II), but Halo 3 takes Time Magazine's top honors. Eat, Sleep, Play, founded by God of War's David Jaffe and Warhawk's Scott Campbell, is working on Twisted Metal: Head On featuring enhanced graphics, playable Sweet Tooth character, lost levels from the never released Twisted Metal: Black Part II and a documentary on the series.
