'NiGHTS: Journey of Dreams' (Wii) Confirmed for 2007

Although there was talk of the title being delayed until Q1 2008, Sega has confirmed that the sequel to the NiGHTS franchise, NiGHTS: Journey of Dreams, will ship Dec. 18, 2007. Sega also unveiled plans to reawaken the Artificial Life (A-Life) feature, which lets gamers develop their own sandbox environments, and has confirmed that the game will feature a two-player mode and network support at launch.

'Kingdom Under Fire: Circle of Doom' (X360) Gets Release Date

According to the game's official web site, Blueside's RPG Kingdom Under Fire: Circle of Doom will be released on Dec. 13, 2007, in Asia (including Japan), Australia and New Zealand; Jan. 8, 2008, in North and South America; and Feb. 1, 2008, in Africa, Europe and the Middle East.

Midway's Updated Financials Reveals New Titles, Confirms Game Delays

Midway reduced its Q3 2007 expected revenue from $50M to $39M, mainly because of pushing Stranglehold (PS3) into Q4, the delay of UT 3 (PS3) until Q1 2008 and lackluster sales of BlackSite: Area 51 due to the split shipment between the X360 and PS3 versions. Their expected annual revenue has been lowered from $225M to $170M. However new installments in the Mortal Kombat and Blitz franchises were revealed.

'Beautiful Katamari' (X360) Goes Gold

The latest addition to the wacky Katamari franchise rolls onto the scene with colorful high definition graphics, online multiplayer modes, new stages and cousins. Namco Bandai announced that Beautiful Katamari for the Xbox 360 has gone gold.

'Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare' (PS3/X360/PC) Gets an Orchestral Score

Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare will feature an original score by Stephen Barton, with the main theme and music production provided by award-winning composer Harry Gregson-Williams, whose work has been featured in numerous TV series, video games and films, such as "Enemy of the State," "Man on Fire" and "Spy Game." The CoD4: Modern Warfare soundtrack was performed and recorded by a full orchestra, largely at the legendary Abbey Road Studios in London, England.

'The Command & Conquer Saga' Revealed

EA today announced The Command & Conquer Saga, a compilation of 13 Command & Conquer games spanning three generations of the series in a single package, including C&C 3 Tiberium Wars and all the titles in C&C: The First Decade. Available in North America this October for the PC, The Command & Conquer Saga marks the largest PC franchise compilation to date.
