A few weeks back it was already hinted at during THQ's latest financial results conference that a expansion pack for Warhammer 40,000: Dawn of War would be coming up, and today GameSpot has a few additional details to back that up. Warhammer 40,000: Dawn of War - Winter Assault is scheduled for fall of 2005 and will include an all-new playable fifth race, the Imperial Guard. More details to come with the official announcement, which will probably follow shortly.

The International Game Developers Association (IGDA) has announced nominees for the 5th annual Game Developers Choice Awards, the premier accolades for peer-recognition in the game industry.
