Forget the sun block next summer - it looks like being a mud-spattered June for PlayStation 2 gamers. Leading interactive games publisher, Infogrames, has announced that it's driving the hugely successful V-Rally brand out of the garage and onto PlayStation 2 in June 2002; and with 4 million units already sold in the series, it's a welcome return for one of the most realistic rally games yet seen.

Crave Entertainment announced today its new extreme sports racing game, "X-Bladez: In-Line Skater" for Nintendo's Game Boy(R) Advance. Based on in-line skating, one of the fastest growing sports in the United States, "X-Bladez: In-Line Skater" takes players on international in-line skating adventures, rolling through some of the hottest tourist spots in the world. The game is scheduled to ship in Q1 2002.

The Warcraft III development team recently announced two new features to the game: Hero inventory has been increased from 4 to 6 slots to allow a hero to carry two additional persistent, consumable, or charged items. Also new to the world of Azeroth is Upkeep.
