2K Sports announced its partnership with Tencent Holdings Ltd. to co-develop the online version of NBA 2K and distribute it to China and other key markets. 2K Sports has secured a multi-year license to develop the online simulation game, which will include all of the NBA teams, as well as current and retired NBA players.

While The Sims 3 was leaked weeks before its official launch, it nonetheless sold 1.4 million copies in just a week. EA CEO John Riccitiello revealed that the leak is basically a demo, as people who play a pirated version will not be able to get the freely downloadable extra town and other community features, since that requires registering the game on the EA Web site.
