ET: QW pits the armies of Earth against the invading alien Strogg in this online strategic shooter. Featuring team play, persistent character promotions, day and nighttime missions, and the universe's most powerful weapons and vehicles. Splash Damage's Paul 'Locki' Wedgwood revealed an updated beta, with improved bots, performance, UI, graphics/sound, punkbuster, etc., will be available in the next few weeks.

Hegemony: Philip of Macedon is an RTS game based on the rise to power of Philip of Macedon, father of Alexander The Great. Using a new 3D landscape engine, the game map is constructed from satellite DEM data and combines battle and strategy within the same unified 3D world.

'Dragon Quest' IV, V and VI Coming to NDS

While and Level 5 are still at work on bringing the newest Dragon Quest IX title the the NDS, it was revealed in various Japanese print magazines that several of its prequels, DQ IV, V and VI to be precise, are also getting converted to the NDS, with full 3D graphics. Whether Square Enix will be bringing the RPG remakes to Europe and/or North America was not mentioned, but Dragon Quest IV is expected in Japan this winter.

Sony Gets Slapped With Another Patent Infringement Lawsuit

Jus when you though things were look up a bit for Sony, they get sued.. again. After the rumble debacle last year, Sony was recently taken to court for the PS3s Blu-ray discs digital security technology, and on July 26 a Californian company going by the name of Parallel Processing Corporation claims Sony is infringing on its 1991 patent for "synchronized parallel processing with shared memory," and is requesting the impounding and destruction of all Sony products that infringe on the patent

'Boogie' (Wii) - 3 Screens & Trailer

The latest Taiwanese issue of Famitsu reveals what could be a sequel to last year's hack'n slasher Ninety-Nine Nights from Phantagram. A release list of upcoming titles makes mention of Ninety-Nine Nights Rondo, scheduled for a November release in Japan. A sequel? Expansion? Downloadable content? We'll probably have to wait until the Tokyo Game Show 2007 to get more details ...
