Midway announces Stranglehold's True to John Woo Short Film video contest, in association with John Woo, Tiger Hill Entertainment, Spike TV and Fox Interactive Media. This contest runs from April 30th to June 25 and encourages contestants to create the most authentic John Woo-style short film.

Lost Planet is a sci-fi action shooter set within the merciless frozen tundra of a hostile planet, humans struggle for survival as conflicts arise between man, the surrounding indigenous creatures and the monstrous beings that have invaded. The PC demo will be the same 2-level single-player demo as the X360 version, and is expected about a month before the game's release.

Two Worlds is an RPG featuring thrilling fight choreographies, gripping characters and realistic worlds, linking the cinematic story with maximum gaming freedom in a medieval fantasy world.

Only a few weeks ago SCi revealed it would be postponing PS3 development, due to its limited install base, but in the short time since, that picture seems to have changed. In a statement earlier today Eidos' parent company announced it is delaying both titles (Kane & Lynch late 2007, Crossfire early 2008), lowered its earnings for the year, and confirmed PS3 editions for both titles are in the works.

In addition to creating and growing their very own pocket sized city while being on-the-go, players will be able to leverage the unique action features of the NDS system, discovering an entirely new way to play SimCity.

BioShock is 2K Games' hybrid first-person shooter, in the works over at System Shock 2 developers Irrational Games, combining elements of sci-fi and role-playing genres. After a successful petition, 2K Games revealed the LE will include a Big Daddy figurine, a Making Of DVD, a soundtrack CD, and an embossed graphic designed by the winner of the current Cover Art Contest.
