Sker: The Bleeding Veil is a first-person, stealth-focused survival horror set in the Sker universe.
Set in 1924, after the Great War and the events at Sker Hotel, The Bleeding Veil follows Gareth Morgan as he searches for his younger sister Elin and returns to the orphanage they knew as children. Sister Gwenllian, once responsible for the children in her care, has brought the former orphans back together around a belief rooted in the Siren's Song. Explore what remains of their childhood home and uncover what has taken place there in the years since Gareth left.
Blinded under Sister Gwenllian’s care, the Listeners hunt by hearing, investigating suspicious sounds, searching nearby rooms and even listening at hiding places when they think you are close. The old orphanage carries sound easily, and broken glass, a cough or a badly timed movement can be enough to draw their attention.
Silence can be your greatest ally. Hold your breath as Listeners pass close by, choose quieter routes when you can, and use noise to mask your movement or draw attention elsewhere. Decide when to stay hidden, when to move, and when being heard is worth the risk.
Tuning Forks allow Gareth to interact with the environment, while the wind-up Carillon uses interchangeable cylinders with different effects on those pursuing him. Its melodies can stun, disorient or manipulate certain enemies, offering a brief chance to move unnoticed or escape. Choose when to move, when to make noise and when to remain completely still.
Sker: The Bleeding Veil is coming to PC (Steam), PS5 and Xbox Series X|S in 2027.
