The acclaimed TOCA series will return with every element of motorsport for real in TOCA Race Driver 3. Race drivers will be competing in a massive variety of the world's most aggressive motorsports, complete with explosive damage effects, head-to-head online multiplayer racing and a game engine rebuilt for a greater degree of simulation.

At its annual BBQ Konami confirmed that its action rpg Ys: The Ark of Napishtim PSP port has been delayed and is being pushed back from its original November 2005 date to spring 2006. In his greatest adventure to date, Adol explores a series of islands hidden in the great vortex of Canaan where he battles with three magical swords imbued with elemental powers to gain special abilities, powerful combos, and deadly attacks. The reason for the delay was to give the development team more time to make the best possible game and not just a straight PS2 port.

THQ Europe and Revolution Software today announced the fourth installment in the Broken Sword series, expected in Europe and Asia summer 2006. George Stobbart fall in love with a mysterious and beautiful woman; a woman whose sudden disappearance draws him into a desperate search for a nefarious artifact of great and terrible power. Unfortunately for George, it looks like the world needs saving one more time.

Battlefront.com and Dan Verssen Games today announced that their air combat strategy game Down in Flames has gone gold. Down in Flames is an action-packed, fun and innovative game system based on the award-winning card games from Dan Verssen Games. With the unique action/reaction game system, gameplay is fast and furious, and yet captures the principles of airborne warfare during the Second World War exceptionally well.

Today at the German Games Convention, Microsoft revealed that consumers can get their hands on the Xbox 360 for as little as $299.99 starting this holiday season. The $299 version will come with a wired controller but will not have the 20-gigabyte hard-disc drive, wireless controller, headset, Ethernet cable and wireless television remote control included in the $399 version.

Numerous different game types as well as five levels of difficulty promise a high degree of long-term motivation for both beginners and pros. Elveon, the current project of 10TACLE Studios Slovakia, was unveiled at the Games Convention in Germany. For the past year, the 40-person team led by Juergen Reusswig and Slavo Hazucha has been working on the development of this epic action game with a vengeance. The game is supposed to be released for PC and next-generation consoles in the summer of 2007.

An adrenaline-pumping action game developed in the Finnish woods in secrecy for almost two years, Shadowgrounds strikes from the darkness with a flash of light in 2005. The game features upgradeable weapons, lighting based gameplay and an epic storyline with strong characters.

With the horror-action-adventure Black Buccaneer, 10tacle Studios takes you to the world of pirates and dark voodoo powers at the Games Convention in Germany. Expected in the spring of 2006, the multi platform-title of the French development team Widescreen Games will bring hot action as well as cold shivers to the players.
