"MechWarrior 4" fans should prepare for another high-powered attack from the Clan forces as Microsoft Game Studios announced that the "MechWarrior 4: Clan 'Mech Pak" has gone gold and will arrive in stores in early August.

Software development consulting firm Ternary Software recently announced its entrance into the game development space with the launch of its new division, Ternary Studios.

Galleon can be summed up in a single phrase: THE VOYAGES OF SINBAD. The game is set across six unique islands that will take the player from the bustling port of Ackbah to islands populated with giant monsters, evil slave lords and of course damsels in distress in a story of intrigue, magic, love, obsession and revenge.

The state-of-the-art title will contain real 3D environments, feature incredibly dynamic camera angles throughout, and take place entirely from a third person perspective. Veterans of both the small and big screens, Lance Henriksen, Clancy Brown and Cree Summer, have all lent the voices to this high profile project. Talk about a clash of the titans: British filmmaker Paul Anderson ("Resident Evil") will write and direct "Alien vs. Predator," a 20th Century Fox project based on a popular video game, Variety reports (thanks Shacknews).
