Planet Combat and Electronic Arts today announced an online game service that will expand the world of Battlefield 2. Designed by Planet Combat, BF2 Combat is a 'meta game' which allows players to carry over their military campaigns from round to round. Planet Combat also announced today that it will be administering the worldwide ranked server network for Battlefield 2.

Available now from Activision, Whac-A-Mole enlists players to whac, zap and crush 10 new challenging breeds of moles including Pilot Moles that fly planes, Racer Moles that drive cars, Ninja Moles that attack with throwing stars, Soldier Moles that shoot bazookas and Electric Moles that try to shock gamers throughout seven unique worlds.

2K Sports announced today that Top Spin, the first online pro tennis title for the PlayStation 2, is now available in stores across North America. Midway today announced that The Suffering: Ties That Bind has shipped to retailers nationwide. The follow-up to 2004's critically-acclaimed The Suffering is available now for the PlayStation 2, Xbox, and PC.

Eidos today announced that after business review, it has shifted the release of its third-person urban action game 25 to Life from October 2005 to sometime in 2006. The product will be available for the PS2, Xbox and PC.

Midway today announced the release of Midway Arcade Treasures 3, a compilation of eight classic Midway arcade racing games, shipping to retailers nationwide. MAT 3 is now available for the PS2 and the Xbox at a suggested retail price of $19.99.
