EA announced today that Tiger Woods PGA TOUR 06, featuring new dual analog swing and putting mechanics, has shipped to retailers nationwide and is available for the PlayStation 2, Xbox, Nintendo GameCube and PC under the EA SPORTS brand. A version for the PSP will ship on September 26.

Sony Recalls PlayStation 2 Power Adapters

Sony is recalling 3.5 million faulty power adapters for its PlayStation 2 because they may overheat and cause injury. The adapters were made between August and December of 2004 for the slimline PS2, which has a free-standing power adapter to save space. PS2 owners can go to http://www.ps2ac.com to determine if their adapters are being recalled.
