Interplay Entertainment Corp. announced today that the highly anticipated Icewind Dale II has shipped to retail. Icewind Dale II is the sequel to the award-winning computer role-playing game Icewind Dale and features the BioWare Infinity Engine that was used to develop the award-winning games Baldur's Gate and Baldur's Gate II (developed by BioWare Corp.), and Planescape: Torment (developed by Black Isle Studios).

The weapons are locked and loaded, the dinosaurs are bigger and badder and the battle has officially begun, as Acclaim Entertainment, Inc. today announced that it has started shipping its highly anticipated action title, Turok: Evolution. Set for full nationwide retail availability on Turok Bloody Sunday - 9-1-02, Turok: Evolution is the first Turok game that will be simultaneously released on the PS2, Xbox, Nintendo GameCube and Game Boy Advance.

Simon & Schuster has just released the new demo for Soldiers of Anarchy, Silver Style Entertainment's upcoming post-apocalyptic strategy game. The download weighs in at a healthy 107 MB, and requires Windows and DirectX (and probably a computer and some other stuff). Microsoft Game Studios just let us know that they have launched the official Zoo Tycoon: Marine Mania. The new site has some new audio, a trial version of Zoo Tycoon and a slew of screenshots. "The Zoo Tycoon: Marine Mania expansion pack seamlessly integrates with Zoo Tycoon, allowing players to immediately add aquatic creatures to their ultimate zoos. In addition to offering new creatures ranging from the great white shark to the giant squid, Zoo Tycoon: Marine Mania allows players to enhance their zoos with customizable aquatic shows including a dolphin show.
