Black Isle Studios and leading console game developer High Voltage Studios today announced their plan to bring the Baldur's Gate : Dark Alliance franchise to the Nintendo GameCube video game system. The PlayStation2 computer entertainment system version of Baldur's Gate: Dark Alliance, developed by Snowblind Studios, has sold over 500,000 copies worldwide.

Computer and video game publisher Gathering of Developers, a subsidiary of Take-Two Interactive Software, Inc. and UK-based developer FireFly Studios Ltd today announced that "FireFly Studios' Stronghold: Crusader" for the PC has gone gold. "Stronghold: Crusader" is a dynamic "castle sim" set in a distant Arabian land that combines the finest aspects of the city builder and real-time strategy genres. The game is set to ship late September 2002.
