Igames & S2 Games Announce The Dawn Of “Savage” - Screens

Publisher and game site iGames along with developer S2 Games today announced its first multiplayer game for the PC, “Savage.” Set in a primal fantasy world torn apart by two power-hungry factions, Man and Beast, the game combines the best elements of real-time strategy with intense first person combat. With a fantastic storyline and the capacity to engage 64 players at a time, “Savage” provides gamers with the most realistic fantasy battle experience to date. Savage is scheduled to ship in the first quarter of 2003. Savage will be shown at the Electronic Entertainment Expo in Kentia Hall, booth number 7336.

Infogrames Unveils New 'Total Annihilation' Game

Infogrames announced that it has entered into a licensing deal with Korea-based Phantagram Interactive Inc. involving Infogrames' Total Annihilation franchise. Under the terms of the deal, Infogrames has licensed to Phantagram the name, logo and code for the U.S. version of Total Annihilation for the purpose of developing a new Total Annihilation title for the PC.

Ubi Soft just let us know that the official site for The Sum Of All Fears (Red Storm's upcoming squad based tactical shooter) is online. The site has a lot of goodies such as : game information, weapons gallery, a few screenshots, a small FAQ, but most importantly a 6.4 MB Quicktime movie trailer (a little over two minutes with some in game footage). Go check it out!

Codemasters Snags 'Indy 500' Game License (PS2/Xbox/PC)

Codemasters has won the exclusive console and PC game rights to the US-based Indy Racing League in a deal with Indianapolis Motor Speedway, LLC. The arrangement includes the rights to the "Greatest Spectacle in Racing", the Indianapolis 500-Mile Race, also known as the Indy 500.

JoWood Acquires Publisher 'Ravensburger'

Ravensburger Interactive, whose primary activity is publishing computer games, is a subsidiary of the well-known German games manufacturer Ravensburger. 'ECTS' Moves To Earls Court And Signs Sony
